As the weather continues to feel Mediterranean here in the UK, having a few multi tasking linen pieces in your Summer wardrobe will expand your outfits and keep you cool. Linen is a Summer must have, for me anyway. I know some people hate it because of the creasing, but if it is mixed with silk (gorgeously luxurious) or is a soft washed linen it will be less likely to crease. Linen comes in several different weights and finishes. Flax linen tends to be stiffer and heavier, whereas a washed linen is softer and has more drape to it. Hobbs and Pure Collection are great places to find good quality linen and Marks and Spencer has some fabulous linen this year and brilliant prices.

To prove how much I like multitasking linen pieces, below are the linen items in my wardrobe this Summer
A few of the ways I am wearing my multi tasking linen pieces.
Multi Tasking Linen Pieces to Add to Your Wardrobe
Great items to add to your Summer Capsule Wardrobe, include a jacket – dress up for work, down for the weekend, a pair of linen trousers, especially an on trend wide leg crop and linen knits, which are lightweight but great for going from the heat in to air conditioning.
Here are a few outfit ideas. Firstly incorporating a pair of linen trousers which are great quality and a brilliant price. A stripe linen knit – a sale bargain and a gorgeous summery yellow linen jacket.
Using the yellow jacket again dressed up for work/smart or down with jeans and a really useful white linen cardigan.
Have I convinced you that linen is a Summer must have?
