As the heatwave continues, are you running out of Summer outfit ideas? If you need some inspiration I am here to help 🙂 I’ve scoured the online shops to find some new and some sale items that you can wear now, from beach to sightseeing (although you could wear these at home too) desk to dinner and evenings from formal to relaxed.
Summer Outfit Ideas – Beach and Sightseeing
Choose beachwear and accessories in a neutral colour, like the blue I have here, then add a pop of colour with you kaftan and sunglasses. You could buy a second swimsuit or bikini in red or white that would extend this mini beach capsule wardrobe. The neutral accessories will work from year to year and can be used with other outfits in a holiday capsule wardrobe.
For sightseeing a simple white t-shirt, made more special with it’s gathered shoulders and a pair of cotton cropped trousers and espadrilles are the perfect cool but chic combination. Look out for accessories when pulling your outfits together. The bag contains all of the outfit colours making the outfit effortlessly stylish. This sightseeing outfit would add to the Heatwave Capsule Wardrobe I created a few weeks ago making several new outfits.
Summer Outfit Ideas – Desk to Dinner
Office wear can be tricky in the Summer. Looking smart from a cool air-conditioned office to the heat outside takes a little more effort. Add in a dinner date and what do you wear that fits the bill? This gorgeous dress is lightweight and the shape skims the body to keep you cool. The jacket makes it more office appropriate and protects from the chill of the air-conditiong. Just swap your accessories and remove the jacket for an elegant evening look.
Summer Outfit Ideas – Evening from Formal to Relaxed
These stunning emerald green culottes and top will stand out from all the black evening wear at a party, plus the bonus is it would work for Christmas parties too. Add pretty beaded and embellished accessories (Dune have some amazing shoes and bags at the moment) and you are ready to go. For a more relaxed look wear the top with a pair of white jeans and sparkly slide sandals. Both looks would work on holiday too and you could swap the green camisole for other coloured tops with the culottes (cream would soften it and red would add some drama)
