At last I feel like we can start to shop for Spring, hurrah! It feels like weeks that I have been making notes and saving new for Spring items ready to create blog posts. This week on one of the gorgeous sunny days I got outside to photograph a Spring Look Book which I have converted into a short video.
The first items I wanted to mention are two pieces from my ambassadorship with Pure Collection. I have already posted about their gorgeous new colours (here) and I chose this lighter weight cardigan (gifted) as a move away from heavier Winter knits. It’s made from their lighter weight Gassato cashmere so it will keep me warm on the cooler Spring days when there is still a nip in the air. It has Pointelle detailing on the sleeves and comes in four colours. I chose the Fresh Lime – good for those of you with Light, Warm, Soft warm or Bright warm colouring. There is also classic Navy, suitable for all colouring, Hot Pink for those of you who are Cool or Bright cool and a delicate Rose Mist pink for Light, Cool, Soft cool and Bright cool colouring.
Spring Look Book Pieces
Here I have styled the cardigan with a new scarf from Capsule Accessories in shades of green and a pop of orange. I have used cream in my top and bag to keep the outfit fresh.
On days when it isn’t too cold, a pair of cropped navy trousers and heels create a smart casual outfit.
The second piece I chose, is a pair of tapered trousers (gifted) also available in black. They are in a soft viscose which feels like a washed silk. They have a tie waist which I swapped out for the outfit below with a red belt to smarten them up.
I’ve worn them with a blouse for a smarter look, but add back the self tie to the waist, a T-shirt and trainers and they become the perfect comfortable, casual trouser.
I love the combination of the soft sand coloured trousers with a fresh cream blouse with it’s red print and the red accessories pull the look together.
