Smart Casual Summer Capsule Wardrobe, Neutrals, Chocolate & Red

Over the last few weeks I’ve put several client capsule wardrobes together and I always end up finding things I want to add to my own! I have deep colouring and in the summer months it’s always harder to find deep neutrals like my favourite Chocolate. BUT whilst browsing Matches and John Lewis I came across a few items that I am itching to own. I love the rich strong combination of Chocolate and Red but I also like a blend of softer neutrals like Cream, Stone, Cement, Camel or Taupe. So I decided to put together a summer capsule that would include both. And now I have to hide my credit card so I don’t get tempted to buy this capsule because there isn’t an item in it that I wouldn’t love to add to my wardrobe!

If you have deep colouring too it’s a great colour scheme that works for summer and your colouring. You could change the Chocolate to Navy for Cool, Silver Grey for a Light, Camel for Warm, Rose Brown for Soft and Bright Blue for Bright colouring.

The colour scheme:

It doesn’t look that exciting like this but once you put the outfits together the colours come alive with the vibrant mix of Chocolate and Red and the expensive, Armaniesque blend of neutrals.

Oh I absolutely love this, but I am having problems finding the poppy red fabric as I sew my own clothes.
