Spring Trends on a Budget

If you are looking to add some of the new Spring trends to your wardrobe but without the designer prices I have a secret to let you into…

Look at Boden! For the last few seasons Boden have really risen in the style stakes and are the first with some of the latest trends BUT made wearable and affordable. Just look at this little comparison I’ve put together and tell me whether it is worth in some cases spending thousands more on an item!

Spring trends, where to buy at budget prices

Yes really – I didn’t accidentally add an extra nought to that Dolce & Gabbana clutch bag it really is £1850 and I know the Boden version isn’t identical but at that price do you really care?

As for the Fashionista must have of the lace up Aquazurra shoes at the bottom even if you did want the designer version you would be pretty much out of luck as they had sold out in all but a size 5 when I finally tracked them down. Instead buy the Boden version and you could have them in blue and orange too and still save yourself £174 (you know my speciality is fashion maths!)

So there you go, fashion at a price you can afford – I’m off to make my Boden shopping list…

And if you do have a small fortune tucked away here are the designer versions

Hi Debbie, I love the orange sandals too – very tempted, there is also a top I’m taken with – the list goes on! Have a lovely weekend.

Thanks for all you do Maria! I read your blog for inspiration and have found new ways of creating outfits from my existing wardrobe.

On my budget Boden IS designer, so I source my clothes from the High Street and charity shops.

Thank you Linda! It’s all about being creative and with a small budget even more so, anyone can copy a designer look. There is so much great stuff on the High street and I’m sitting here in my Tu (Sainsbury’s) jeggings! have a great weekend
