How to Wear Monochrome

I do love monochrome! If you do too but know that stark black and white isn’t really right for you don’t despair, we should all break the rules sometimes. I was inspired when I spent some time on Pinterest – as you do, 5 minutes turns into “some time” – when I found numerous pictures of monochrome mixed with red (and one with leopard which I loved too) and I likeĀ it even more than monochrome on it’s own. What do you think?

In some cases it was just a pair of earrings and a red lip, or more often red bags and shoes. So if you want to wear monochrome I say go ahead – put on your best red lipstick or add a red scarf if you want to keep black away from your face. But it’s also a good excuse to seek out a new red handbag, and believe it or not I don’t have one in my wardrobe so I can see one item I need to add to my Spring wish list.

I’d also add any of the pieces in the outfits I styled below!
