Ballet pumps have been the flat shoe choice for as long as I can remember and they are still going strong. But if you are looking for a change and something that works well with trousers and skirts (ballet pumps with a skirt can look frumpy) then take a look at the pointed flat. Soon to be a wardrobe staple.
They do both smart and casual and work with skirts, the on trend crop trouser, wide leg pants and jeans. And as they are available in a variety of colours and fabrics it may not be easy to stick to just one pair.
