If you are looking to update your wardrobe you don’t have to spend a fortune, there are stylish pieces at all price ranges. My exception would be leather – a big seasonal trend – somehow I can’t bring myself to buy a skirt or trousers in “pleather” but that’s just me, it can look very realistic though, so if you are happy to try it then do.
I’ve done a trawl online to find some popular autumn pieces with high end prices and with similar items from the high street so you can choose which suits your purse.
Can you tell which is high end and which is high street?
Firstly autumn accessories of the classic black court shoe, riding boots, an every day tote and the must have bag shape the envelope in on trend animal print. The high end pieces are on the left. Verdict: for the high fashion clutch I’d opt for the high street as with the shoes and boots but I’d probably save up for the high end tote.
The timeless trench. Verdict: if you are going to wear it for many years to come maybe for you it is worth buying the Burberry (on the right) rather than the Hobbs version.
For a relaxed weekend outfit the must have capsule wardrobe pieces are an animal print top, biker jacket and skinny jeans – but which outfit would cost you £426 and which would set you back £1725? Verdict: I’d be happy with the high street look.
So which would you go for?
