This week between holidays I’ve been keeping an eye on some of the new season pieces coming into the shops.
Here’s a quick roundup of a few that caught my eye:
Firstly carrying on from summer’s monochrome the trend continues into autumn with this peplum top from Fenn Wright Manson.
A pair of wedge boots are a great way to transition into the new season before wearing knee high boots. This pair from LK Bennett would be perfect with trousers or worn in the new way with a dress or skirt.
I love this autumnal look from Hobbs – the pattern trouser is still going strong.
Trousers this season are worn on the ankle with a high heel – these grey trousers are a great cut to wear with fitted knitwear or a more voluminous silk shirt.
I love flat shoes and the ballet pump is a classic but it’s great to see new shapes like these from LK Bennett which will look equally good with trousers or dresses.
Finally the big winter coat story is pink and loose fitting as seen at Hobbs. Worn with black and white it stays chic rather than too girly.
