Two New Shoe Finds for your Capsule Wardrobe

Like many women I have a bit of a shoe “thing”. Sadly though, I do struggle in high heels unless they are a wedge. So I am delighted to share with you two new shoe finds, both of whom will be joining us at the Capsule Wardrobes Summer event. But if you can’t wait until then let me introduce you to them.

First up is Jemima Vine; founded by Jennifer Markham, inspired by her fast paced city career.

680_Product Jemima Vine ShoesJennifer tired of searching for stylish alternatives to her beloved stilettos that would complement her dynamic, professional lifestyle and the idea for Jemima Vine was born. Jennifer set out to create a collection of elegant flat and low heeled shoes for women on the go that would bridge the gap between work wear and off duty chic. Jemima Vine shoes are designed in London and crafted with a luxurious finish in Spain using high quality leathers; the specialist cushioned soles provide extra comfort. For those of you like me who struggle in heels these work really well with a dress and trousers.

I’m lusting after the python slipper but who could resist the dalmation spot slippers with neon pink trim?

The second new find is La Paire a shoe brand that specialises in handmade Spanish leather sandals. The ethos behind the label is simple; elegant shoes made from the finest leathers in a selection of vibrant shades and eye catching styles. Founder Amy is an Australian-born, London-based designer.

La Paire was born as a result of Amy’s own quest for comfortable yet stylish leather sandals. Driven by her frustration and inability to find quality, affordable and colourful styles, she decided to create her own label, launching it in April 2012.

Imagine these gorgeous sandals on holiday with painted toe nails (It’s making me yearn for warmer days!) I think the black and gold, or the gold and turquoise might make it into my holiday suitcase – decisions, decisions. The good news is this lovely footware is very reasonably priced so maybe it will have to be 2 pairs after all.

I hope you like these new finds as much as I do. If you are coming to the Capsule Wardrobe Summer event you will be able to try and buy there. If not you can order online just let Jennifer or Amy know that we sent you.
