Spring stock is starting to arrive in store and I’ve chosen a couple of outfits based on the “Spring Pastels” and “Monochrome” themes for the season. The first is a casual look perfect if like me you work a lot from home or equally good for a shopping trip and the second is a smarter but still easy look which I would wear for meetings if I didn’t need to look “corporate’.

Spring trends pastel and monochrome

For my first look I’ve chosen a Jade stripe T shirt from Velvet by Graham & Spencer with MIH Jade skinny jeansicon and layered a Knitted oversize top from Duffy made from a cotton linen mix with a touch of cashmere to keep out the early Spring chill, finally I’ve chosen a gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff Bonnie Satchelicon in super soft leather, it’s a look that’s laid back but still pulled together.

For my second look I’ve chosen a smarter pair of Nobody Cult Straight Black jeansicon with a high rise that holds you in (what most of us want!) What makes this outfit special is the investment Cream Tweed jacket from Philosophy, I love it for it’s versatility worn as shown here or over a tailored shift for the office it will earn it’s cost per wear in your capsule wardrobe. I’ve finished the outfit with a Cashmere scarf from Crumpet (of course – scarf-a-holic) and fabulous Statement bag from Diane Von Furstenberg which, with it’s raffia top, gives it a summer feel despite being black.

I think I will have to take a day trip to visit the store but in the meantime will be making use of their online shop. What do you think?
