How to Wear a Tux

If the Little Black Dress isn’t for you how about “Le Smoking”? Invented by designer Yves Saint Laurent in 1966 and worn by celebrities (Bianca Jagger on her wedding day) and royalty (Princess Diana) alike it’s a chic alternative. The last couple of seasons have seen the tuxedo jacket move in to day wear too so there are numerous versions available from Mango to Armani. I’ve chosen a couple of reasonably priced ones from Phase Eight – both currently reduced. And you don’t have to wear it with trousers a form fitting pencil skirt elevates it to Femme Fatale. Keep it feminine with high heels and a satin or lace top.
