How to Wear – Autumn Trend, Purple

For the autumn season regal purple reigns. It’s a great alternative to black for day and evening and the good news is it suits everyone.

It’s also pretty versatile – pair it with a light neutral like beige or stone if you are blonde, wear it in it’s deepest shade – like the velvet suit above if you are dark in colouring or mix with red for stand out attention.

I’ve picked 3 purple dresses from Phase Eight for casual mixed with black, for work lifted with neutral accessories and jacket and for partying with simple gold accessories as the dress is so detailed.

Purple shift dress by Phase Eight, Jacket by CC at John Lewis, Patent leather tote bag by L.K. Bennett, Taupe suede shoe boots by Lk Bennett
Tape work dress by Phase Eight, Earrings by Pandora at House of Fraser, Clutch bag by Wilbur & Gussie, Sandals by Phase Eight

Here are a few more purple ideas – how about just your accessories, or brightening up a rainy day with a purple mac or you could just go with the tiniest touch with purple nails!
