Take 3 – Autumn 2012 Trend The Slipper Shoe

Whilst the ballet pump has become a classic it’s not to everyone’s taste in a flat shoe. It does have a feminine feel to it and if you aren’t a “pretty pretty” type of girl your choice may have been the brogue – which equally doesn’t appeal to the ballet pump wearer.

Now you both have a choice of a shoe that sits between the two – the slipper shoe. This style is going to be a big autumn 2012 trend and is already beginning to creep into the shops. Imagine the old fashioned man’s slipper but made more exciting in animal print or more feminine with crystals. This is the shoe to wear with another of the key looks this coming season; the trouser suit.

So here are three options in price range:

Aintree ticket shoe in black and animal from Clarks
Nine West Panto shoe from House of Fraser
Sam Edelman Crystal smoking slipper from my-wardrobe.com

And if money is no object here are a few from Jimmy Choo to lust over!

So will you be adding the slipper shoe to your autumn wardrobe? Which would you choose?
