Easy Business Wear Capsule Wardrobe

As the autumn stock starts to filter into stores (I know we haven’t worn our summer clothes much yet) you may be thinking about filling some of the gaps in your business wear wardrobe. Well I have good news for you – House of Fraser has a new range just in called Department. A collection of everyday basics with key seasonal prints and colours thrown in.

The collection includes suiting – a tailored jacket, pencil skirt, trousers and shift dress which come in black, dark grey or light grey pinstripe in two trouser lengths. Simple jersey V and cowl neck tops come in plain colours of  black, white, lime and pink and patterns of abstracts, animal print and geometrics. Knitwear for more casual days includes fitted cardigans in black, camel, magenta and teal and a waterfall cardigan in black, burgundy and a deep pine green. The knitwear is completed with a colour block jumper in two colourways. A selection of plain and print shift dresses and draped jersey dresses complete the range.

Prices are excellent with the jacket being the most expensive piece at £100. Jersey tops start at £20 and the knitwear ranges from £40 to £55. Great value to build a capsule wardrobe from scratch with endless options. Start with one colour as I have done below and then add in a second. The capsule range shown below comes to £455 (excluding the bags and shoes)

Shown above a capsule created from the dark grey pinstripe and teal. Add in 2 more top, 2 more knits and another dress for endless possibilities.
