What to Buy now – Spring Beauty Treats

If you are feeling a little gloomy and thoroughly fed up with the grey weather and constant rain I sympathise. Sitting at my desk looking out at the garden this week it looks more like the start of winter than Spring. I keep thinking it can’t go on for much longer – hopefully the April showers will be gone after this weekend. Nothing makes me feel better than a bit of beauty therapy, so I’ve done a round up of my favourite online beauty stores and below is a selection of uplifting ideas to get you through until Spring really arrives!

Firstly some wonderful “smellies” because you can close your eyes and imagine you are somewhere else. I love the gorgeous fresh smell of L’Occitane Verbena shower Gel £13 and Verbena Eau de Toilette £38 both from John Lewis They have Zesty notes of Mediterranean verbena with a rosy base of geranium and lemon tree. Gorgeous!
To make the room smell fabulous two of my favourite candles are from The White Company – Orange Grove Signature Candle and Tuscan Fig Signature candle both £20
And one of my favourite skincare brands has a great Spring offer. This month, when you order your Skincare essentials regime £41 from Liz Earle
iconyou will receive a complimentary Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion 150ml, worth £10.25, for refreshed and revitalised eyes all summer long. Plus, you’ll get free UK p&p on your entire order, normal price is £55.75.

Now for some lovely new makeup selections:

Eyeshadow Trio from Nars £33 at SpaceNK and a lovely summer set Nars Beach Lover set £35 which contains their skin illuminator, a powder duo, lip pencil and gloss in golden tones that will look stunning with a tan.
Stilla is another new favourite of mine particularly their Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner £13 which comes in 8 shimmery colours – moray is my favourite it’s a mixuture of bronze and green, and they are so soft to apply. The lovely little pots of Convertible colour which can be used on lips or cheeks £16 single or £27.95 for a duo pack the creamy formula gives a sheer wash of colour and they go on really easily, and I love the fact that they are double duty.
Crush Lip and cheek stain £16 or £27.95 for two is a brilliant product because not only does it work with your skin’s pH levels to give a personalised flush of colour but it also includes Vitamins A, C and E help to moisturise the cheeks and lips.

And finally a collection from Estee Lauder that has my mouth watering. Being a Lioness, summer baby (LEO) I love all things golden, so this collection really appeals to me – and I’d love to spend my next big birthday on the Italian Riviera and visiting the island of Capri, the inspiration for this collection, so I kind of feel that this collection was made for me!
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess collection including Pure colour illuminating powder £28, Pure colour five colour palette £35, Pure colour gloss £16, nail varnish £14 and Bronze Goddess Capri spray £40 a summery citrus floral blend.

Have you bought any Spring beauty treats yet? I’d love your tips, so do leave a comment. Or if you try one of the products mentioned what do you think?
