Christmas Shopping at Duke of York’s Square

A few days ago I visited London with a friend. We had the obligatory wander around the handbag and beauty departments of Harrods, and a quick drool in the Mulberry store before we headed over to Duke of York’s Square, off the King’s road in Chelsea, on a mission to get some specialist fruit from Partridge’s.

However, there were plenty of other treats to explore. It was a glorious sunny day and the cafe’s were buzzing, the perfect time to do some window shopping and people watching. We passed by the new Kate Spade store on Sloane Square and couldn’t resist going in. It was a riot of fabulous colour with lots of ideas for girlie Christmas presents – definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Then past the White Company – whose Christmas window was gorgeous – we stroked their lovely cashmere and took in the scent of Christmas with their cinnamon clove and orange winter candles a perfect gift.

We finished up in Liz Earle – trying out her gorgeous Naturally Active Skincare range in the calm, relaxed atmosphere, which draws inspiration from the beautiful scenery of the company’s home on the Isle of Wight.

There is some street parking if you are lucky as we were to find a space, but you will need plenty of change!

If you have a couple of hours to wander there are plenty of other lovely shops to visit, including Agnes B, Hoss Intropia, Coccinelle, Oska, Myla and Jigsaw. As well as places to sit outside and enjoy a cappuccino.
