Purple is back! I love purple, it’s regal and luxurious, especially if you buy it this season in velvet. Plus the good news is, it’s one of those universal colours that we can all wear. It does vary in colour from brand to brand so don’t try matching it exactly, just wear it with a combination of colours in your palette.
Here are a couple of colour suggestions to wear with purple to suit your colouring:
For Light colouring look for a lighter purple and wear with your delicate pinks and add Silver Grey as a neutral.
For Deep colouring choose a dark purple and mix with other dark neutrals like Chocolate and an accent of Blush Pink.
For Warm colouring choose a soft purple and add Camel and one of your warm greens.
For Cool colouring use contrast with a light grey and an accent of Fuchsia.
For Bright colouring look for a Bright Purple then mix other bright colours like Scarlet and contrast with a lighter neutral.
For Soft colouring look for a muted purple and add a soft pink and choose one of your neutrals to create a soft blend of colours.
