Don’t you just love boot season? What’s better than opening a box of new boots and that gorgeous smell of leather wafting up to meet you? This season there are so many options to choose from that I think we all need several pairs 🙂
To save you doing the hard work of finding just the right pair(s) I have put together a Best of Boots Edit with over 70 pairs to choose from. To make it even easier I have split them up into categories, from over the knee to cosy ankle boots and the new sock boot to the 70’s style slouch boot, I hope you will find your perfect pair.
To give you some inspiration I’ve picked out a few of the featured pairs and shown you how to wear them below.
How to wear Classic Knee boots
Wear the classic knee boot with a pencil skirt for work or with a jumper dress for the weekend. Mix neutrals and add a touch of luxe fur for an elegant, expensive look.
How to wear Metallic boots
These would look great with a pair of wide leg trousers for the evening, but here I have paired them with coated jeans, a metallic Puffa jacket and and embellished bag to mix up the textures.
How to wear Slouch boots
Slouch boots are a 70’s throwback so I have mixed them with a Boho Gilet and a “flower power” skirt (very Marni-esque)
How to wear Kitten heel boots
My favourite of all these looks! A gorgeous ruffled dress, sheepskin coat and suede bag, this outfit would be perfect for a winter event.
How to wear Sock boots
These boots are high fashion and you need slim ankles to wear them. They mostly finish mid calf, but the exagerated pointed toe will elongate the leg. They come in a range of colours but I thought this pink pair would be pretty for a smart occasion with a faux fur jacket and fine pleat dress.
Have you invested in new boots? Which did you choose? If you haven’t yet, check out the boot edit here.
