This month for my collaboration with Pure Collection I wanted to add some tops to my Summer capsule wardrobe. I wanted pieces that I could include in smart casual and more relaxed looks. As well as gorgeous cashmere Pure Collection is also very good at linen so I chose 4 linen tops that would work well in my wardrobe.
The first top is this linen jersey Bardot style designed to wear off the shoulders, it looks just as good worn on the shoulders with it’s fluted sleeves. This style is great for those of you that are pear shaped as it visually widens the shoulders (making them balance with your hips). It’s a great pop of summer colour and works perfectly with your summer white pieces as I have worn it here. This one is probably my favourite of the four tops. Plus if you aren’t keen on the way linen creases a linen mix like this would be a good option for you.
Next is this relaxed linen poncho which comes in 5 colours and is now a sale bargain, it’s great if you have a tummy to hide. I opted for the fluoro lime version but it is also available in easier to wear navy, white and a beautiful aqua. Because it has a loose shape I have worn it with slim fit trousers to balance it out.
Next up is this white embroidered top. It also comes in a longer dress version which would be brilliant as a beach cover up.

The embroidery detailing adds a gorgeous burst of colour around the face and I love it as an all white outfit with a pair of cropped jeans. As it is laundered linen it also creases less and is softer to wear than a stiff linen.
The final top is this knitted linen tie neck style with pretty pointelle stitching. It is incredibly soft and easy to wear. It’s a beautiful fine knit so it works in the heat but could also be worn with a camisole layered underneath it. Above I have worn it simply with navy trousers and below for my recent London trip with white boyfriend jeans and a red bag for a classic red, white and blue ensemble.
With the sale currently on there are plenty of linen bargains now available.
