One of the great things about writing a blog is that I get introduced to brands I may not have found otherwise, as happened recently with Eternal Collection. They contacted me offering to send me a piece of jewellery to style for the blog. If you are a regular reader you will know that I love costume jewellery and will more days than not wear a necklace. However, it was trickier than I first thought because they have such a large selection to choose from, including Swarovski Crystal, Venetian Murano Glass, Enamel and Freshwater Pearls to name a few.
After trawling the site I finally decided on a necklace made of Venetian hand blown Murano glass, antique-gold beads, Swarovski gold and jet black crystals. And I knew the perfect special top to style it with; my Eileen Fisher silk box top which is, like the necklace, simple but stunning. with black trousers, a red lip and nails the only other requirement is a pair of shoes. As it’s Christmas I decided to gift myself a pair with red soles (not really it’s a virtual gift!) after all this beautiful necklace needs equally beautiful shoes. There is also a matching ring and earrings that I’ve added as the rest of the outfit isn’t too fussy.
Here’s a close up of the ring – see how well it goes with those shoes:
As there is such a great selection – and it’s not just necklaces there are earrings (both clip, never easy to find, and pierced), bracelets, brooches and some stunning hair accessories (which I will be keeping in mind for the 18th birthday ball) – I thought I would put together a small selection chosen to suit your colouring. Or if you want to buy a gift just see which of the colour types is closest to the person you are buying for.
I hope that has given you some ideas for gifts, but there is plenty more to choose from so have a good look around before you choose. I think the prices are very reasonable for such lovely jewellery and it comes gift boxed. If you want to order for Christmas make sure you get your order in by their last posting date of 19th December.
And why not treat yourself while you are there.
