This week I’m starting a new series called “5 Picks” which will be 5 items I’ve found and that I love on a theme. This week’s theme, as it’s everywhere, is red.
A red dress is one of those items you can pull out of your wardrobe on a day you want to be energised and grab attention. This one from L.K. Bennett is a great shape and with it’s long sleeves won’t need a jacket. But don’t think you only have to wear it for smart occasions. See how I’ve styled it below for work and casual wear.
What could be better on a dreary winter morning than a red coat to brighten your day? Coats this season come in all shapes and colours but this is a great classic tailored coat from Jaeger to add to your wardrobe.
A red bag is a must have this season, here’s one from Kurt Geiger for when you don’t need to carry too much.
There is a red shoe hole in my Autumn capsule wardrobe at the moment and these from Karen Millen would fill it perfectly 1) because they are flat and 2) because the point toe makes them good to wear with trousers and dresses.
And finally a red knit from Baukjen (you may have noticed I’m absolutely loving Baukjen this season) which would work as well under a suit for work as it would with your jeans and the red shoes.
Will you be adding red to your wardrobe this season?
