I had to let you know about a brilliant pair of trousers I found on my wanderings today, perfect for updating my autumn capsule wardrobe. Before I tell you where I found them I want to give you all the details:
- Made from a 55% new wool, 5% cashmere, 24% polyester, 15% viscose and 1% elastane – stretch for movement and too prevent bagging – they feel incredibly soft and luxurious.
- Fully lined
- Washable at 30 degrees (yes wool trousers that are washable)
- In a great modern slim fit
- Available in a dark navy and a grey tweed mix (sadly not black)
So how much would you be prepared to pay for these wonders? Probably over £100 (remember wool and fully lined) well not even close. These little beauties will set you back just £45!
The pictures don’t really do them justice – especially the first one, she seems to be standing in a rather weird position!
OK I’ll tell you, they are from good old Marks and Sparks! They also do similar versions in bootleg and straight leg fit but I loved the shape of these on and will be wearing them plenty through the autumn and winter making their cost per wear minimal. Now that’s fashion maths at its best.
