After months of grey dark days the last few bright sunny ones have made me feel like maybe Spring is just around the corner. Whilst my twitter stream and email inbox are full of everything Autumn 2013 from London Fashion Week I’ve decided to round up some fresh colours to add to your core capsule wardrobe for the better days ahead.
This Spring there will be several options for those who like to “live life in colour” – if not monochrome is a big trend and of course there is also plenty of white to come.
I’ve already mentioned blue so this time I’ve gone for Hot Coral and Orange, Green and Yellow. If you aren’t brave enough to go for a yellow or green dress add a fizz of colour in your accessories.
Such happy colours – these make me think of holidays and sun baked beaches. Not for everyone, take care wearing against your face unless you know the colour suits you. But we can all indulge in a pair of deckchair stripe ballet flats.

Yellow can be sophisticated with grey or navy, made tropical with other hot colours or relaxed with white. Yellow this season ranges from fresh and citrusy to golden.

Green seems to be one of those colours that divides opinion. Personally I love it from Lime through to emerald (the stone in my engagement ring!) There’s a green for everyone whether it be “Kelly”, moss, sea or grass.
Which colours will you be adding to your Spring wardrobe?
