Linea from House of Fraser covers everything from clothing to home wares with the women’s wear offering fashion at an affordable price. But the pieces aren’t so trend driven that you can’t include them in your capsule wardrobe to wear now and in future seasons. I’ve picked a few of my favourite pieces from the autumn collection which represent some of this season’s trends.
First up is the fantastic colour block ponte dress, a fabric which is comfortable to wear with a little stretch and is machine washable. This would make a great work outfit with a pair of on trend Nantes tassle cuff shoe boots and a barrel shape Eva bowling bag – the shape seen on all the catwalks. The shoe boots would look equally good with a pair of skinny jeans.
Next up I’ve chosen a cocoon shaped coat – two trends in one the shape and the berry colour. With a matching berry coloured Large grab bag and black suede boots a stylish outfit to wear out shopping with a girlfriend.
Finally a comfortable outfit for running errands at the weekend or maybe a country walk and pub lunch. Comfortable black ponte leggings and cowl neck top cinched in with a belt and topped with cosy Jacquard waterfall cardigan. Riding boots – very much part of the equestrian theme this season, a snake print tote and a snuggly lambswool scarf complete the outfit.
I could see all of these pieces working well in my wardrobe – which would you choose?
